The purpose of this book is to help in the practice of the Christian life and to teach something about the realities and spiritual truths upon which it rests. One of the reasons why many young believers fail to “go on” in the Christian way is to be found in the fact that they were left to find their own way.  Untaught and unguided, they have lost the path and come to grief.  This book has been written with a view to meeting the need of the newly-converted believer.

Dr. Ernest F. Kevan, a Ph.D. graduate of the University of London, was a Baptist minister from 1924 to 1946 before being called to be Principal of London Bible College, where he laboured until his death in 1965.
